● Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Balzer, 82, a resident of Wheatland Homes at North Newton, were held Friday afternoon at the grace hill Mennonite Church southeast of Newton. Rev. E. J. Miller, the pastor, and Rev. S. D. Hartzler of newton officiated. Mrs. Balzer died March 18 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital. The former Ida Gaede of Hillsboro, she married Abraham Balzer in 1913, and he died in 1969. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. H. P. Miller, the pastor, and Rev. S. D. Hartzler of newton officiated. Mrs. Balzer died March 18 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital. The former Ida Gaede of Hillsboro, she married Abraham Balzer in 1913, and he died in 1969. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. H. P.
