J. Wilmer Wenger, 93, of Detroit Lakes, Minn., died July 1, 1993 at Emmanuel Nursing Home.  He was born Nov. 2, 1899, at Versailles, Mo., to Louis and Mary Lehman Wenger.  He married Alice Stutzman on April 29, 1945, at Detroit lakes.
He was educated at Versailles and moved to Manson, iowa, where he farmed.  He lived in California for three years prior to moving in the early 1940s to a farm n Height of Land Township, rural Detoit Lakes, where he lived until entering Emmanual Nursing Home in 1991.
