Christian Jensen Hjorth was born in Denmark on Sept. 24, 1900, to Jens and Anna Hjorth. | |||
In 1927 he came to the United States and settled on a farm near Wisner, Neb. Early in 1932 he was received into the Mennonite church in Beemer, Neb. and remained a member until his death. | |||
On Nov. 13, 1932 he was married to Esther Oswald. To this union were born two sons, Ebbert and Rolland, and one daughter, Darlene. | |||
He attained the age of 58 years, 10 months and 17 days. | |||
He is survived by his wife and three children, his father Jens of Denmark, five brothers, four in Denmark and Harold of Stanton, Neb., five sisters, four in Denmark and Helga, Mrs. Chris Christensen of Troy, New York. He was preceded in death by his mother Anna, of Denmark. | |||
Funeral services were held at the Beemer Mennonite church with Earnest Kauffman, P. O. Oswald and Sam Oswald in charge. Burial was made in the Beemer cemetery. | |||

CHRISTIAN JENSEN HJORTH
Christian Jensen Hjorth was born in Denmark on Sept. 24, 1900, to Jens and Anna Hjorth.
In 1927 he came to the United States and settled on a farm near Wisner, Neb. Early in 1932 he was received into the Mennonite church in Beemer, Neb. and remained a member until his death.
