Mr. Kroeker was born in South Russia but came to America and finally settled down in the Corn vicinity in 1893. Pro. H. D. Wiebe preached a funeral sermon in the English language where on Rev. H. H. Flaming also spoke in the German.

— Mr. H. D. Kroeker a prominent citizen of this community died December 9, from appendicitis. Mr. Kroeker was born in South Russia but came to America and finally settled down in the Corn vicinity in 1893. Pro. H. D. Wiebe preached a funeral sermon in the English language where on Rev. H. H. Flaming also spoke in the German.
