&#9679; Mrs. Mary Loewen, 85, died Saturday at the Halstead Nursing Center after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Newton First Mennonite Church, with Dr. Albert Epp officiating. Mrs. Loewen, the former Mary Reimer of McPherson, married Jacob B. Loewen at McPherson in 1908, and they were residents of Newton most of their married life. Mr. Loewen died in 1964. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Elma Snyder of Boulder, Colo., Mrs. J. A. Henry of Fresno, Calif., Mrs. Blondine Hartman of Wichita, Mrs. Wayne Crist of Newton, Mrs. F. S. Scruggs of St. Joe, Ark., and Mrs. Arthur Reed of Longmont, Colo.; two sons, Marvin of San Luis Obispo, Calif. and Orlando R. of Valley Center; one brother, Bernhard Reimer of Goessel; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

● Mrs. Mary Loewen, 85, died Saturday at the Halstead Nursing Center after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Newton First Mennonite Church, with Dr. Albert Epp officiating. Mrs. Loewen, the former Mary Reimer of McPherson, married Jacob B.
