<center><h3>MOTHER OF FIVE, AGED GRANDFATHER KILLED IN SEPARATE MISHAPS</h3></center> 
Goshen, Ind. &#8212; A mother of five children from the Topeka community and a 76-year-old grandfather of Wakarusa were among those fatally injured in accidents in the northern Indiana area last week.
Mrs. Cleo Mae Lantz, 32, wife of Harold Lantz of Route 1,Topeka, was instantly killed early Wednesday morning, June 18, when her car collided with a truck at a highway intersection near Pierceton, Ind.  It was believed she was on the way to Kokomo to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hershbervger, who survive with the husband and five small children.
Funeral services were held at the Town Line Mennonite Church in the Emma community.
On Thursday afternoon John L. Yoder, 72, drove his car into the path of a freight train at a rural crossing near Wakarusa and died the same evening at Elkhart General Hospital.  It is believed he did not see the approaching train.
Mr. Yoder had been employed as janitor at the Wakarusa High School for 10 years.  Funeral services were conducted at the Holdeman Mennonite Church, of which he was a member.

Indiana Accidents Claim Lives of Two

MOTHER OF FIVE, AGED GRANDFATHER KILLED IN SEPARATE MISHAPS

Goshen, Ind. — A mother of five children from the Topeka community and a 76-year-old grandfather of Wakarusa were among those fatally injured in accidents in the northern Indiana area last week.

Mrs. Cleo Mae Lantz, 32, wife of Harold Lantz of Route 1,Topeka, was instantly killed early Wednesday morning, June 18, when her car collided with a truck at a highway intersection near Pierceton, Ind. It was believed she was on the way to Kokomo to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hershbervger, who survive with the husband and five small children.
