Shipshewana, Ind. &#8212; William M. Miller, 80, a resident of the Amish settlement in the Townline Church neighborhood most of his life, was fatally stricken Dec. 31 while en route home from a wedding by horse and buggy.   
 
His wife Polly took over the reins and drove to their home, unaware that her husband had died.  A doctor was summoned who pronounced him dead. 
 
Survivors include the wife and nine children, all of the northern Indiana area.

DIES EN ROUTE HOME IN BUGGY

Shipshewana, Ind. — William M. Miller, 80, a resident of the Amish settlement in the Townline Church neighborhood most of his life, was fatally stricken Dec. 31 while en route home from a wedding by horse and buggy.

His wife Polly took over the reins and drove to their home, unaware that her husband had died. A doctor was summoned who pronounced him dead.

Survivors include the wife and nine children, all of the northern Indiana area.
