Funeral services were held June 8 at the Otto and Argo funeral home and the Congerville Mennonite church, of which he was a member, Rev. Raymond M. Yoder, pastor, officiated, and burial was made in the Imhoff cemetery. | |||
Mr. Miller was born here Dec 27, 1874, a son of Jacob and Mary Birkelbaw [''sic'' Birckelbaw] Miller. He married Emma Detweiler Feb. 9, 1909. | |||
Surviving in addition to his wife are five sons, Owen and Ronald, both of Congerville, Harold of Goodfield, Clyde of Mackinaw, and Glen of Carlock; two daughters, Miss Lucille, at home, and Mrs. Mary Engel of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and nine grandchildren. | |||
He was precede n death by two brothers and two sisters. | |||

Retired Farmer Died at Age 80
Congerville, Ill. — Joseph B. Miller, 80, well-known retired farmer here, died at his home near Congerville on June 6. Funeral services were held June 8 at the Otto and Argo funeral home and the Congerville Mennonite church, of which he was a member, Rev. Raymond M. Yoder, pastor, officiated, and burial was made in the Imhoff cemetery.
Mr. Miller was born here Dec 27, 1874, a son of Jacob and Mary Birkelbaw [sic Birckelbaw] Miller. He married Emma Detweiler Feb. 9, 1909.
