• Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Dalke Matherly, 74, were conducted Dec. 19 in the Goertz Funeral Chapel in Hillsboro. Rev. Marvin Hein, pastor of the Hillsboro M. B. Church, officiated. A native of the Hillsboro community, Mrs. Matherly taught in that area until her marraige. Since her husband's death she had lived in Oklahoma and California. She died Dec. 16 at the Bartlesville, Okla. hospital. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. John R. Klassen of Newton and Mrs. Geo. H. Duerksen of Batlesville, and one brother, Charles Dalke of Newton. | |||
