Mrs. Katie Martin, 70, wife of Ephraim Martin, RFD 4, Albany Oregon, died July 12 at an Albany nursing home. Mrs. Martin was born Sept. 10, 1880, in Ontario, Canada, coming to the United States at an early age, settling in Nebraska. She was married to Ephraim Martin Jan. 26, 1911, coming to the Albany vicinity with her husband in 1916.
 
Surviving besides her husband are three children, Mrs. Vera Marie Ugar and Mrs. Verna Ruth Blalock, both of Portland, and Roy H. Martin of Fullerton, Cal.
 
Also surviving are two brothers, Dan H. Brenneman and M. E. Brenneman of Albany, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Kenagy of Albany; four grandchildren, Ronnie Hatfield, Mike Blalock, Sheryl Blalock, all of Portland, and Sheila Martin of California.
 
Mrs. Martin was a member of the Albany Mennonite church.
 
Funeral services will be held at the Mennonite church, 1106 West 12th, Saturday, July 14, at 2 p. m., with Rev. Allen Erb, Lebanon, officiating.

Mrs. Katie Martin, 70, wife of Ephraim Martin, RFD 4, Albany Oregon, died July 12 at an Albany nursing home.
