Graduate of Reedley Academy Killed in Motorcycle-Car Crash
Reedley, Calif. — The head-on collision of a motorcycle and a car on a narrow road east of Orosi claimed the life of James Neufeld, driver of the motorcycle, and seriously injured his cousin, Lonnie Neufeld, a passenger.
Only four days earlier James had graduated from the Immanuel Academy here. The senior class and student body of the academy established a memorial fund in his memory.
Survivors include the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey A. Neufeld of Dinuba, one brother and two sisters, and three grandparents.
