Aaron Kauffmann, son of Christian and Barbara Nofziger Kauffmann, was born at Minier, Ill. on Aug. 1, 1886, and died at Maple Lawn Homes, Eureka, Ill., on Feb. 6, 1969 at the age of 82 years and six months. | |||
He married Magdalena Birky on Jan. 1, 1908. She died in February 1965. | |||
Surviving are four daughters, Pearl of Normal, Ill., Mrs. Mark Hanks of Utica, Kan., Gladys of Chicago, Ill., Dorothy, Mrs. Wayne Miller of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; and three sons, Melvin of Minier, 1ll., Russell of Glenview, Ill., and Dale of Grand Forks, N. D. Six sisters and one brother also survive. | |||
He was a member of the New Castle Bible Church at Deer Creek, Ill. and a former employee of the Peine Grain Co., Minier. | |||
Funeral services were conducted by his nephews, Ivan and Norman Kauffmann, at the Hopedale Mennonite Church on Feb. 9. Burial was in the Mennonite Church Cemetery at Hopedale, Ill. | |||

AARON KAUFFMANN
Aaron Kauffmann, son of Christian and Barbara Nofziger Kauffmann, was born at Minier, Ill. on Aug. 1, 1886, and died at Maple Lawn Homes, Eureka, Ill., on Feb. 6, 1969 at the age of 82 years and six months.
He married Magdalena Birky on Jan. 1, 1908. She died in February 1965.
