Deacon Nafziger was a lifelong resident in this vicinity and had served as a deacon in the Amish Mennonite church since 1912. He was the last surviving member of the family of the late Samuel and Mary Kipler [''sic''' Kuepfer] Nafziger. His wife, the former Susan Jantzi, and one daughter, Mrs. Mose L. Jantzi, survive him. |

WIDELY KNOWN DEACON PASSED AWAY
Milverton, Ont. — Funeral services for Deacon Joseph K. Nafziger, who died at his home at at [sic] Honeygrove Jan. 10 at the age of 79, were widely attended. Deacon Nafziger was a lifelong resident in this vicinity and had served as a deacon in the Amish Mennonite church since 1912. He was the last surviving member of the family of the late Samuel and Mary Kipler [sic' Kuepfer] Nafziger. His wife, the former Susan Jantzi, and one daughter, Mrs. Mose L. Jantzi, survive him.
Final services were in charge of Bishop Amos Allbrecht and Pre. Sol. S. Kuepfer.
