Hillsboro, Kans. — Relatives from this community went to Burlington, Kans. on May 30 to attend funeral services for Arnold Plett, 31 who accidently drowned while fishing near there on May 24. The body was not recovered for four days.
A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John E. Plett, he had been employed as foreman of a construction crew at Kansas City.

FORMER HILLSBORO MAN DROWNED

Hillsboro, Kans. — Relatives from this community went to Burlington, Kans. on May 30 to attend funeral services for Arnold Plett, 31 who accidently drowned while fishing near there on May 24. The body was not recovered for four days.

A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John E. Plett, he had been employed as foreman of a construction crew at Kansas City.
