Plain City, Ohio. — Funeral services were conducted in the Amish settlement here Jan. 29 for John H. Plank, Jr., 18-year-old son of John H. Plank, who was fatally injured in a car crash on Route 76 south of Wooster. Relatives and friends from several states attended the services. | |||
Critically injured in the accident was Roman Y. Lapp, son of John and Sarah Lapp, who is in a Columbus hospital with a crushed vertebrae and other injuries. | |||
The two young men had been living in Wooster. It was reported that Roman Lapp went to sleep at the wheel, and the car missed a curve, jumped a small creek and hit a tree. Both youths were thrown out. | |||

18-YEAR-OLD YOUTH KILLED, COMPANION INJURED IN CRASH
Plain City, Ohio. — Funeral services were conducted in the Amish settlement here Jan. 29 for John H. Plank, Jr., 18-year-old son of John H. Plank, who was fatally injured in a car crash on Route 76 south of Wooster. Relatives and friends from several states attended the services.
