• Mr. and Mrs. Herman Neufeld of Newton received word of the death of his sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Janke, 82, which occurred Oct. 30 at her home in Salem, ore. Mrs. Janke was a former resident of Hillsboro and had lived at Salem since 1945. She was a sister of Mrs. Nettie Epp of Pretty Prairie. The funeral was conducted Nov. 3 at the Kingwood Bible Church, Salem. | |||
