Amish Minister Died at Age 78
Belleville, Pa. — Samuel Peight, oldest Amish minister in this district, died recently at the age of 78 after several years of failing health. Funeral services were held at the home of a son, Dan Peight, where he had been cared for until his death.
Besides serving in the ministry, Min. Peight was a respected and industrious farmer.
He leaves eight children and a large number of grandchildren.
