Long-Time Resident Of Corn, Okla. Dies
Corn, Okla. — Mrs. Peter Huebert, a long-time resident of this vicinity, died Feb. 8 at the age of 81. Funeral services were conducted at the Corn Mennonite Brethren church, of which she had been a member since 1902.
A native of Marion County, Kansas, she and her parents were among those moving to a Mennonite Brethren settlement at Westfield, Texas. Later they moved to this area and Mrs. Huebert had lived here since except for a period in Caddo county.
Surviving in addition to Mr. Huebert are four sons and four daughters, one brother, J. P. Nikkel of Reedley, Calif., five sisters, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
