•  John A. Rutschman, 88, retired farmer of Whitewater, died April 9 at Bethel hospital here.  The funeral was conducted Friday afternoon at the Swiss Mennonite Church, with Rev. Ted Roth and Rev. Arnold Ensz officiating.  Survivors include his widow, Frieda; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Brenden of Silverton, Ore. and Vivian Rutschman of Wichita; four sons, Paul of Denver, John of Fresno, Calif., Clarence of Taylor, Mich. and Arthur of Bakersfield, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters and four brothers.
