• Frank A. Rudiger, 78, well-known retired farmer of the Galva community, died Monday evening at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge, to which he had been transferred at noon from the Parker Nursing Home in McPherson. He had been in failing health for several years. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church, with Rev. C. B. Friesen officiating. Mr. Rudiger was preceded in death by his wife, Lena, on July 25 of this year. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Frank Smith and Mrs. Ervin Ratzlaff of Newton, Mrs. Vernon Decker of Galva, Mrs. Abe Nickel of Inman, and Mrs. Robert Decker of Canton; a son Galen, of Newton; 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers. | |||
