Ed J. Ries, 60, who farmed near here for many years, died Nov. 25 after having suffered from leukemia for several months. | |||
On Thanksgiving Day Mrs. Reinhardt Preheim, 48, died at the Sioux Valley Hospital where she was receiving treatment for a brain tumor. She and her husband farmed in the Marion community for 25 years. | |||
Paul Kaufman, 74, suffered a fatal heart attack Monday morning, Nov. 30, while doing chores at his farm. | |||

Freeman, S. D. — Three members of the large Salem Mennonite Church near here were called by death within a few days’ time.
Ed J. Ries, 60, who farmed near here for many years, died Nov. 25 after having suffered from leukemia for several months.
