Funeral services took place May 7 at the Koerner Heights Church of the Mennonite Brethren for Susie (Mrs. John) Hiebert, 85, who died May 4 at Kansas Christian Home. Kerwin Thiesen officiated. Born Susie Graves, she was married to Mr. Hiebert in 1936 at Hillsboro. He died in 1966. Surviving are three sons, Norman Janzen of Dallas, Harold Hiebert of Wichita and Franklin Hiebert of Halstead; a daughter, Betty (Mrs. Leonard) Ward of Waunette, Okla.; a step-daughter, Linda Brady of Peabody; a brother, Isaac Graves of Walton; three sisters, Anna Wiens, Katherina Voth and Justina Neufeld, all of Hillsboro; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
