Mrs. Maria (Epp) Regier, a resident of the Henderson Nursing Home, died on April 3, 1973 at the Henderson Hospital, Henderson, Neb., at the age of 94.
 
She was born on Sept. 11, 1878 to Rev. and Mrs. John P. Epp near Henderson. At the age of 16 she accepted Christ as her Saviour and was baptized by Rev. Cornelius Wall. She became a member of the E.M.B. Church at Henderson.
 
She married John W. Regier on Dec. 11, 1907. Her husband died in 1919, but she continued to farm with the four boys until 1938.
 
Survivors include four sons, John E. of Henderson, Aaron E. of Reedley, Calif., Dr. Henry E. of Wheaton, Ill., and Rev. Alvin J. of Hobart, Ind.; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Henry F. Epp of Mountain Lake, Minn. She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
 
She always showed an unusual joy of her faith in Christ. One of her greatest joys came when two of her grandchildren went to the mission field. Kathleen and Vergil Nelson are in Taiwan, and Don Regier served a short term in Japan.
 
Funeral services were held on April 6, 1973 at the E.M.B. church, Henderson with Rev. Gerald Franz and Rev. J. R. Barkman officiating.

Mrs. Maria (Epp) Regier, a resident of the Henderson Nursing Home, died on April 3, 1973 at the Henderson Hospital, Henderson, Neb., at the age of 94.
