● Funeral services for Miss Sue H. Haury, 78, retired pianist and piano teacher, were held Monday afternoon at the Sister Frieda Memorial chapel with Rev. Esko Loewen and Rev. Jerry Griffin officiating. Miss Haury died Jan. 18 at the Bethel Home for Aged where she had resided since August 1972. A native of the Newton community, she attended Bethel College, received a degree in piano from Peabody Conservatory, Baltimore, and the A.B. degree from Denison University, Granville, Ohio. She also studied at the New England Conservatory and the Julliard School of Music. She taught piano at Occidental College in Los Angeles and for 25 years at Denison University. Since her retirement she had lived in Wichita, and for several years taught piano at Wichita State University and Bethel College. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Lyman C. Boynton of Rochester, N.
