Parkesburg, Pa. &#8212; David Hartz, 98, died recently at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Witman in Lancaster.  Funeral services were held at the East Chestnut Street Mennonite Church, of which he was a member.
He was born in Morgantown and was in the flour and feed milling business all his active life, retiring in 1945.  His wife, Mary Lantz Hartz, died in 1920.  He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

RETIRED MILLER DIES AT AGE 98

Parkesburg, Pa. — David Hartz, 98, died recently at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Witman in Lancaster. Funeral services were held at the East Chestnut Street Mennonite Church, of which he was a member.

He was born in Morgantown and was in the flour and feed milling business all his active life, retiring in 1945. His wife, Mary Lantz Hartz, died in 1920. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
