He was born in Salem on Feb 26, 1893, son of Joseph and Anna Rich Raymseyer [''sic'' Ramseyer]. He completed a course in the Capital Business college, Salem. | |||
Mr. Ramseyer was engaged in farming until 1923 when he became a partner with his brother Alfred P. Raymseyer [''sic'' Ramseyer], in the garage business in Salem. Later he was associated with the W. T. Rigdon funeral home, retiring in 1948 due to ill health. | |||
He was married to Maude Savage in 1924. | |||

Oregon Business Man Called By Death
Pratum, Oregon. — Benjamin J Ramseyer, 60, lifelong resident of this community, died of a stroke of paralysis Dec. 12 at a Salem hospital.
He was born in Salem on Feb 26, 1893, son of Joseph and Anna Rich Raymseyer [sic Ramseyer]. He completed a course in the Capital Business college, Salem.
