Dayton, Va. — Two persons are still confined to the hospital here with injuries received in a highway accident Oct. 3 which claimed the life of Claude C. Swartz, 68. They are his daughter, Geneva Swartz, and a partner in a lumber firm, Howard Mason. | |||
The three were en route to work in a small foreign car when it was struck head-on by a cement truck. Mr. Swartz was killed instantly. | |||

ONE DEAD, TWO INJURED AFTER CEMENT TRUCK CRASHES INTO SMALL CAR
Dayton, Va. — Two persons are still confined to the hospital here with injuries received in a highway accident Oct. 3 which claimed the life of Claude C. Swartz, 68. They are his daughter, Geneva Swartz, and a partner in a lumber firm, Howard Mason.
The three were en route to work in a small foreign car when it was struck head-on by a cement truck. Mr. Swartz was killed instantly.
