Youth Instantly Killed When Car Hits Truck
Bird-in-Hand, Pa. — The funeral of George Stoltzfus, 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob R. Stoltzfus who met instant death in a highway accident, was held recently at the Weavertown A.M. Church here.
The youth was returning home at night on the Rt. 230 bypass at Lancaster when he failed to see a tractor-trailer making a turn in his path. His car hit the trailer broadside and went underneath, stripping off the top. His mutilated body could not be viewed before the services.
