Retired Farmer Died At Berne
Berne, Ind. — Jacob E. Sprunger, 69, retired farmer and a lifelong resident of this community died at Adams County Memorial Hospital Oct. 7. He had been ill six days with a heart ailment.
He was an active member of the Evangelical Mennonite Church near here, where the fuenral services were held Sunday, oct. 9. Rev. E. G. Steiner officiating. Since retiring from the farm, Mr. Sprunger had been employed as janitor at the Smith Brothers Furniture plant.
