&#8212; Rev. and Mrs. S. J. Goering were called to Moundridge Monday morning because of the sudden death of Mr. Goering's mother, Mrs. Joseph H. Goering, at her farm home southwest of Moundridge as the result of an heart attack.  Although having had an heart ailment for some moths, death nevertheless came to her suddenly and unexpectedly.  She had yet been able to get up in the morning and was sitting in a fairly upright position with a song book in her hand when children found her after life had departed.  She reached the age of 79 years.  A pioneer in the Moundridge community, she lived and died at her home about one mile from the homestead at which she arrived with her parents from Russia in 1874.  Among those surviving her are her husband, Jos. H. Goering, and the following children:  Jac. M., Adolf, John, Rev. Sam. J., Mrs. Anna Graver, and Jos. H., Jr.  Funeral services are being held this afternoon at the Eden church.
