Rev. and Mrs. Snyder served under the Mennonite Board of Missions in Argentina from 1928 to 1947 and in Puerto Rico from 1953 to 1964, and since then had been involved in mission outreach among Spanish speaking people in South Texas and Milwaukee. | |||
Survivors include Rev. Snyder and a son, Mario Snyder, a missionary in Argentina. | |||
J. D. Graber of Elkhart, long-time General Secretary, represented the Mennonite Board of Missions at the funeral, held at Breslau, Ontario on Jan. 11. | |||

Long-Time Mission Worker Among Spanish Speaking People Dies
Elkhart, Ind. — Word was received here of the death of Mrs. Elvin (Mary) Snyder, long-time missionary among Spanish speaking people in both North and South America, which occurred Jan. 5 in Milwaukee, Wis.
Rev. and Mrs. Snyder served under the Mennonite Board of Missions in Argentina from 1928 to 1947 and in Puerto Rico from 1953 to 1964, and since then had been involved in mission outreach among Spanish speaking people in South Texas and Milwaukee.
Survivors include Rev. Snyder and a son, Mario Snyder, a missionary in Argentina.
