Paul Edwin Shetter, son of the late John H. and Lizzie B. (Burkhart) Shetter, was born May 29, 1913, in Franklin county, Chambersburg, Pa.; died of pneumonia Nov. 22, 1959, at the Carlisle, Pa. hospital, aged 45 years, five months, 23 days. 
 
On Dec. 22, 1932 he was married to Dorothy Seylar who shared his joys and sorrows and tenderly cared for him, as he was the victim of the painful and crippling effects of arthritis.   
 
He is survived by six children, Norma, Mrs. Maurice Horst of Stevens City, Va., Paul E., Jr. and Vonda, Mrs. William Morrison, both of Chambersburg, Pa., Donald of Shippensburg, Pa., Gary Duane and Joyce Ann, at home; seven grandchildren; one brother, Eber of Ronks, Pa.; five sisters, Ruth, Mrs. George L. Brubaker of Gap, Pa., Emma, Mrs. Harry S. Wedel of Shippensburg, Pa., Ada, Mrs. Roy C. Yeager of Chambersburg, Pa., Clara, Mrs. Ambrose Patterson of Upper Strausburg, Pa, Anna, Mrs Paul B. Byers of Sheldon, Wis. His father, who had resided with him, preceded him in death by four months.  The family keenly feels the loss of a kind husband and father. 
 
On June 29, 1924, he was baptized and received in fellowship by the Pleasant View Mennonite congregation.  In recent years he fellowshipped with the congregation at the Bethel Pentecostal church, from which the funeral services were held.  Rev. Camuel Weidler had charge.  Burial was made in the Narland cemetary ''sic''].
