— Funeral services were held Monday at the Hoffnungsau church near Inman for Mrs. Maria Schmidt, 73, wife of Jake Schmidt, who died Aug. 1 at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital here after suffering a heart attack. A native of Harvey County, she had lived at Buhler since 1943. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters and four sons, three brothers, two sisters, 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. | |||
