— Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Rempel and Mr. and Mrs. Ike L. Friesen of Meade were overnight guests at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Martin Classen in Burns, Wednesday, Oct. 31. They were returning from an extended trip through the East, having gone as far as New York City, and again left for Meade on Thursday morning. Thursday evening the Rev. Classens received the tragic news that Mr. Friesen had died of a heart attack at 5:00 p. m. Only 34 years old, he appeared in good health and had thoroughly enjoyed the trip. His deeply bereaved wife and a small daughter survive. Rev. Classens attended the funeral, which was held at the Emmanuel church at Meade Monday afternoon. | |||
