Henry S. Schmidt, of Goessel, Kansas, was born at Alexanderwohl, South Russia. He passed away last week at the hospital in Hillsboro, where he had been a patient. he reached the ripe age of 65, and leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his passing. | |||
Funeral services were held at the Tabor Church, east of Goessel, Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Rev. P. P. Buller, Rev. H. R. Voth, Rev. P. H. Richert and Cornelius Frey spoke during the services at the church, and Rev. Peter Buller spoke briefly at the cemetery. Rev. H. R. Voth, who preached the main sermon, was a former school teacher of deceased at the Greenfield school in the years 1875 and 1876. Severeal [''sic''] choirs and quartettes furnished music, among them the male quartette of the Bethel Student Volunteer group. | |||

Henry S. Schmidt, of Goessel, Kansas, was born at Alexanderwohl, South Russia. He passed away last week at the hospital in Hillsboro, where he had been a patient. he reached the ripe age of 65, and leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held at the Tabor Church, east of Goessel, Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Rev. P. P. Buller, Rev. H. R. Voth, Rev. P. H.
