OFFICIAL IN INDIANA FARM BUREAU VICTIM OF HEART ATTACK
Berne, Ind. — Ed. J. Fricke, 58, well known official of the Farm Bureau with offices in Indianapolis, died suddenly of a heart attack while waiting for a bus in that city on Jan. 31.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 3 at the North Methodist church In Indianapolis, where he had been an active member. He had recently resigned the chairmansrip [sic] of the Methodist Laymen’s League in Indianapolis. The body will be brought to Berne for burial as soon as weather conditions permit. He was a former resident of Monroe and Decatur near here.
Mr. Fricke was the son of the late Fred C Fricke, former bishop at large of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite and editor of the Messenger of Truth. He leaves his wife and eight children.
