— Funeral services took place at the Hillsboro M. B. church on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 27, for Mrs. H. F. Toews, who died the previous Sunday from complications which developed following an operation.  Mrs. Toews, whose husband was the late Dr. H. F. Toews, had lived in Hillsboro until the beginning of the present school year, when she moved to North Newton with her daughter, Miss Wilma Toews, home economics instructor at Bethel College.  Another daughter, Grace, of Denver, Colo., and a son, Franklin Toews of Topeka, also survive.  Dr. Toews died four years ago.
