Urban ministry leader dies at 83 in Ohio

CLEVELAND — Edward C. Taylor, a leader in Mennonite urban-ministry programs for a decade in the 1970s and '80s, died Aug. 24 at the age of 83.

In 1978 Taylor became associate secretary for Mennonite Board of Missions, a predecessor agency of Mennonite Mission Network, in its home missions department.
