• Mrs. Carrie Unruh, 82, widow of Noah T. Unruh and a resident of the Halstead community since 1920, died May 21 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital here. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Grace Mennonite Church west of Halstead. Surviving are two sons, Melvin and Joe of Halstead; five daughters, Mrs. Lorena Becker and Mrs. Esther Johnson, both of Halstead, Mrs. Alma Dirks of Montezuma, Mrs. Eva Wiens of Winton, Calif., and Mrs. Hazel Jantz of Livingston, Calif.; two brothers, Henry Jantzen of Hutchinson and Dan Jantzen of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Buller of Cleo Springs, Okla., and Mrs. Mildred Unruh of Enid, Okla.; 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. | |||
