•  Funeral services for Aaron Y. Boeckner, 67, of rural Moundridge were held Tuesday forenoon at the Meridian Mennonite Church near Hesston, with Ministers Harry Wenger and Milfred Wenger officiating.  Mr. Boeckner died Friday evening, April 18, at Bethel Deaconess Hospital.  A native of Plymouth, Neb., he had farmed in the Moundridge community since his marriage to Gertrude Holdeman in 1925.  She survives with sons Wilmont of rural Newton, Gerald and Weldon of Moundridge and Dennis of Lebanon, Ore.; nine daughters, Mrs. Clifford Penner of St. Marys, Ont., Mrs. Kenneth Dyck of Newton, Mrs. Kenneth Litwiller of Almena, Wis., Mrs. Chester Johnson of DeRidder, la., Mrs. Harold Schmidt of Walton, Mrs. Newell Eicher of Atmore, Ala., Mrs. Andy Powell of Moundridge, Mrs. Paul Toews of St. Marys, Ont., and Mrs. Fred Decker of Leland, Miss.; 48 grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
