Winkler, Man. &#8212; Funeral services were held for John Winters, 49, farmer, in the M. B. Church here at 2:30 p. m. on Thursday, August 5, with Rev. H. S. Voth assisted by Rev. W. Wright, Plum Coulee, officiating.

Mr. Winters passed away at Wallace, Idaho, en route home from a vacation with his family at Vancouver, B. C. He is survived by his widow, the former Lena Wiebe; seven children ranging in ages from 19 years to six months: Sylvia, Lowell, Marilyn, Jackie Lee, Tim, Garry and Darlene; by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Winters of Winkler; and by five brothers and four sisters. His brothers Peter, Charles, Ben, Harry, and Jake, and his wife's brother, Mr. Wiebe, acted as pall bearers.

FATHER OF SEVEN DIED WHILE ON TRIP WITH FAMILY

Winkler, Man. — Funeral services were held for John Winters, 49, farmer, in the M. B. Church here at 2:30 p. m. on Thursday, August 5, with Rev. H. S. Voth assisted by Rev. W. Wright, Plum Coulee, officiating.

Mr. Winters passed away at Wallace, Idaho, en route home from a vacation with his family at Vancouver, B. C. He is survived by his widow, the former Lena Wiebe; seven children ranging in ages from 19 years to six months: Sylvia, Lowell, Marilyn, Jackie Lee, Tim, Garry and Darlene; by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Winters of Winkler; and by five brothers and four sisters.
