• Funeral services for Mrs. Tena Wiebe, 78, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Peterson Funeral Chapel with Dr. Albert Epp, pastor of the First Mennonite Church, officiating. Mrs. Wiebe died Saturday evening, June 14, at Kansas Christian Home here. She resided at Wheatland Homes in North Newton before entering the Home, and formerly was employed as a cook at Axtell Christian Hospital. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Wallis Schmidt of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Konrath of Walton and Mrs. Susie Jost of Hillsboro; three brothers, Neal Wohlgemuth of Newton, Pete Wohlgemuth of Castile, N. Y., and Abe Wohlgemuth of Whitewater; and four grandchildren. | |||
