Lizzie C. (Loux) Alderfer, wife of Harvey L. Alderfer of Allentown Road, Souderton, Pa. was born Jan. 1, 1882, and died May 20, 1955, aged 73 years, four months and 19 days.
She was a native and life-long resident of Franconia Township and was a daughter of the late Jacob and Henrietta (Clemmer) Loux. She was a member of the Franconia Mennonite church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three children, Jacob L. Alderfer, of Souderton, R. D., Ada L., at home, and Adella L., wife of Stanley A. Derstine, Souderton, R. D.; a brother Abram C. Loux, Souderton, R. D.; also five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted May 24 at the Hunsicker Funeral Home, Souderton, by Menno Souder and at the Franconia Mennonite church by Elwood Derstine and Jacob C. Clemens. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.

MRS. HARVEY L. ALDERFER


Lizzie C. (Loux) Alderfer, wife of Harvey L. Alderfer of Allentown Road, Souderton, Pa. was born Jan. 1, 1882, and died May 20, 1955, aged 73 years, four months and 19 days.

She was a native and life-long resident of Franconia Township and was a daughter of the late Jacob and Henrietta (Clemmer) Loux. She was a member of the Franconia Mennonite church.
