Lifelong Resident Dies at Wellman
Wellman, Iowa. — Charles A. Wertz, who spent his entire life on a farm northeast of Wellman, die at the farm home Nov. 21 at the age of 83.
Survivors include his wilfe, Katie Miller, whom he married in 1904; one daughter, Mrs. Fern Whetstone; two grandsons, two great-grandsons; two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were conducted at the East Union Mennonite Church, where he was a long-time member.
