Former Pax Worker Dies at Mt. Lake

Mt. Lake, Minn. -- Funeral services for Gordon Eitzen, 33, father of three young children, were held Oct. 25 at the Bethel Mennonite Church here. He suffered a heart attack on Oct. 22 and died shortly after being admitted to Bethel Hospital.

A native of this community, Mr. Eitzen graduated from the local high school and attended Bethel College (Kansas) for one year. He served in MCC-Pax service in Germany and Greece for two years. Since 1968 he had been employed at Land O'Lakes Creamery.

Survivors include his widow, the former Elizabeth Sawatzky, and children Marc, Lorelei and Lisa, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter D. Eitzen, and grandmother, Mrs. P. D. Eitzen, all of Mt. Lake; and three sisters, Mrs. Ellsworth Kroeker of mt. Lake, Mrs. LaVerne Fast of Austin, Minn., and Mrs. Ervin Klippenstein of Fullerton, Calif.
