&#8212; Employed at an orange grove near Orosi, Cali., Peter C. Ediger, 65, was killed almost instantly Tuesday, Dec. 4, as he was crushed under the wheels of a large trailer loaded with oranges.  The trailer had been stuck, and, according to fellow workers, Ediger accidentally came under the wheels just at the time the tractor to which it was attached succeeded in moving the heavy load.  Death came in but a few minutes.

— Employed at an orange grove near Orosi, Cali., Peter C. Ediger, 65, was killed almost instantly Tuesday, Dec. 4, as he was crushed under the wheels of a large trailer loaded with oranges.
