Final rites were held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 22, for Mrs. Lena S. Wedel, 78, a 40-year resident of Downey, Calif. Rev. George F. Orloff of Emanuel Congregational church, Los Angeles, officiated, with interment following in Englewood Park cemetery.

Mrs. Wedel was born Nov. 11, 1882, in McPherson County, Kan., and died Saturday, Nov. 19, at her home just one day after her 78th birthday.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Frank, three daughters, Mrs. Lenore [Lenora] Crammer and Mrs. Tina Wedel, both of Lynwood, and Mrs. Lorena Reseck of Downey; two sons, Vern and Renda, both of Lynwood; one brother, Ben Nelson of McPherson, Kan., eight grand-children and seven great-grandchildren. &#8212; The Family.

MRS. LENA S. WEDEL

Final rites were held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 22, for Mrs. Lena S. Wedel, 78, a 40-year resident of Downey, Calif. Rev. George F. Orloff of Emanuel Congregational church, Los Angeles, officiated, with interment following in Englewood Park cemetery.

Mrs. Wedel was born Nov. 11, 1882, in McPherson County, Kan., and died Saturday, Nov. 19, at her home just one day after her 78th birthday.
