• Oliver O. Weaver, 80, retired farmer who lived in the Canton community most of his life, died Nov. 30 at McPherson County Hospital. He married Cora Landes at Canton in 1914, and they lived on the farm until moving to Schowalter Villa at Hesston in 1961. She survives, along with four sisters, Mrs. Lottie Selzer and Mrs. Bertha Oldfield of Canton, Mrs. Ada Selzer of Hesston, and Mrs. Nettie Hunsberger of McPherson. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Spring Valley Mennonite Church, with Rev. James Hershberger officiating. | |||
