&bull;  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Mennonite church of Halstead for Mrs. Mary Warkentine, 87, who died Feb. 7 at the Halstead Nursing Center.  The services were conducted by Rev. Robert Suderman.  Mrs. Warkentine was formerly postmaster at Goessel.  She retired in 1958 and moved to Halstead.  Her husband, Aaron Warkentine, died in 1953.  She is survived by three sons, L. D. of Enid Okla., Ralph of Fort Worth, Tex., and Carl of Portland, Ore.; one daughter, Mrs. Richard Regier of Halstead; two brothers, Emil and Henry Dalke of Halstead; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Ratzlaff of Halstead and Mrs. John Prather of Newton; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
