Rev. Dick served in the ministry at the First Mennonite Church of Mt. Lake for a period of about 40 years. Her also engaged in farming. His wife, the former Helen Schroeder, died four years ago. In recent years Rev. Dick had been a guest at Eventide Home in Mt. Lake. He was in the hospital for about a month before his passing. | |||
Funeral services were to be held Monday at the First Mennonite Church, with Rev. Harold Thieszen in charge. | |||
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Nick Klassen of Buffalo, Minn., Mrs. Willard Unruh of North Newton, and Mrs. Howard Stucky of McPherson. There are 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. | |||

Retired Mt. Lake Minister Called by Death at Age 87
Word was received here that Rev. I. J. Dick, 87, retired minister of Mt. Lake, Minn., died in the hospital there Saturday morning, Nov. 18, after a long illness.
Rev. Dick served in the ministry at the First Mennonite Church of Mt. Lake for a period of about 40 years. Her also engaged in farming. His wife, the former Helen Schroeder, died four years ago. In recent years Rev. Dick had been a guest at Eventide Home in Mt. Lake. He was in the hospital for about a month before his passing.
